EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS & PLANNING

CPMS INC. specializes in conducting building audits and risk analysis to gather information on building design and existing safety programs and systems. This information is compiled to create emergency procedures and these audits also help create programs, which can mitigate exposures to potential loss.

Fire Safety and Emergency Plans

The Provincial and National Fire Code requires buildings to have in place an approved Fire Safety Plan which includes all emergency procedures and maintenance requirements for building fire protection systems and comprehensive schematics. CPMS INC. creates these plans and obtains approval from the Authorities Having Jurisdiction.

Emergency and Disaster Recovery Plans are developed to address all types of emergencies such as fire, medical, power failure, bio-logical and chemical, bomb threats, natural disasters, technology failures and pandemics. CPMS INC. focuses on four keys areas: Mitigation - if possible eliminate the exposure; Preparedness - if mitigation is not possible ensure all measures are in place to effectively deal with the potential emergency; Response - should the emergency occur, ensure procedures are properly followed to minimize any exposure to loss of life and property and Recovery - the focus here is on post events to ensure the complex is safe of operation and business resumption.
